Say UNCLE
My week was pretty good. We had our interviews with the Pres. and that went really well. He gave us a few pointers to have us work together better so it helped a little bit. My favorite memory this week probably would've been when I went on exchanges with Elder Spencer in Weaverville. He's also friends with Scott Moberg so we have a good time serving with each other. Another one was we finally got one of our investigator's daughters to talk to us so hopefully they will start progressing more. Pres Thomas talked to us about, for example when we get in a fight and are losing and we say UNCLE, so he told us to say uncle to our past lives and lose ourselves in the work and thats helped me a lot. Thanks for everything Mom and Dad.
Love yall

Hey Everybody
Hey Mom and Dad
Glad to hear yall are doing well.
My favorite memory this week would have to be when we went and taught our investigator who should be getting baptized soon. She's going through a pretty rough time at home and is planning on moving soon but she knows that the gospel is true and we're helping her out as much as we can and she's doing great. She came to church but was late and she said satan is trying so hard to stop her but he cant:) she knows its true so that was a good experience, and eating dinner with the Claytons, they're a sweet family and they love football haha we talk about it so it was a pretty good week.
I know that the church is true and im doing the best thing right now in serving the lord and bringing others unto him. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was called of god to be the prophet to bring back his church. I know that the atonement has the power to change poeple's lives and that I see those changes happening all the time and being out here is one of the best things I can be doing right know. I know that Jesus is my savior and died for me and everyone out there. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and yall and I'm glad to be out here serving the Lord. I have felt some of those hugs from Heavenly Father as well, a few times in church and my studies and efy music. haha
In my personal studies I've been reading in Acts, Numbers and Alma and I'm learning more about the gospel and its cool to read about Paul and all of them doing missionary work as well as Ammon and the sons of Mosiah doing work and that nothing is impossible with the lord
I miss hearing from yall as well.
Have a good week:)
Well I'll keep praying for all yall and ttyl. Luv yall

Things are going good.
Ya we had a pretty good week we only found one new investigator, but hes a pretty good one. Right now we have one lady whose doing very well and coming to church but she needs to get her situation at home fixed so then she should be baptized at the end of this month or beginning of next, hopefully, I'm praying.
I was homesick for hardly anytime you know me haha but I do miss it sometimes.
Thanx a bunch for the package I'll probably get it soon.I hope he continues to bless us here in Asheville.
Thanx for the advice last week. let me know if i can do anything else for yall. I'll be praying for all yall alright.
Luv yall.

Happy New Year!!
It was really nice to talk to Marshall on Christmas day. We were able to talk to him for almost 2 hours. Those of you that know Marshall, knows that that is a miracle in and of itself. His mission president told him in his last interview that he has seen Elder Goodrich grow quite a bit since he first came out and sees him doing great things. Here is a compilation of his last two letters.
Ya I know the tough times will pass. I've already gone out of my comfort zone, I talk to pretty much everyone now so I'm doing pretty good now, better than I was earlier in my mission. I know I need to lose my self. I know that as I serve I will have a better time and be more focused on the work. I'm being the best leader I can right now. We are working really hard so its going better than what it was but we still only get along some of the times cuz there really isnt anything I can do to help him except work and let him do what he wants to do. I'm reading the new testament and its pretty boring right now but Im learning a whole lot more about the bible and I will get to the really good stories sooner or later haha. I would've hated that long car ride to Rexburg, but it was for a good reason and spending time with the Smiths would've been way cool so I maybe would've gone haha. I'm trying my best to do good and be good. Thanks for the advice.
I hate snow now it kinda stinks doing work in it and its really windy but I'm out here for a reason so I love it.
Love yall
