Training.

Things are going pretty good here in Huntersville. Richard is doing good we didnt get the chance to teach him last week but he read the WHOLE Book of Mormon again he's way solid and this week we found 6 new investigators and we have 4 baptismal dates right now so the work here is progressing pretty quick and im loving it. This girl we met, Erin has done a lot of studies on other religions and is interested in learning more and to read the Book of Mormon. Another one we are teaching is Dutch and hes pretty cool we taught him and at the end he's like, I really like to think that god has one true church but I cant really think it right now:) He found the right people to talk to then. haha
We are working really hard and I luv being out here serving the Lord and the members and others here in huntersville. We have a couple other good people we found this week their names are Brian and Nora and theyre all doing good and interested in learning more about the restored gospel.
Thats pretty sweet that Cameron and Chandler could go down to the MTC together. It would be a sweet experience for him to meet Nicole.
Ya its pretty fun being a trainer, His name is Elder Mathis and he's from Lehi Ut its different training greenies cuz they are straight from home and get homesick but its all good.
I heard from Elder Ramsey and hes doing good. He said that he had the best time with me so that was way cool we got along really well and had good laughs.
Well Pres Thomas called about 5 tues and when Elder Devey answered it and i could hear Pres Thomas say; Hello this is Pres Thomas and I got that feeling like you sick to your stomach when he said it, and I knew I was training then. We had our trainer mtg and pres talked to us for a bit. Its cool everyone from my mtc district is training:) then we met our boys and talked to them for a bit and then we went to the tranfers mtg and introduced them to the mission and then we drove home and we taught a few lessons and hes doing good. He's way cool we get along good and he loves sports so I was happy I was kinda praying for a comp who liked sports and i got one:) Ya I kinda miss the success I had in Danville but I'm where the Lord needs me so thats good.
Ya it feels wierd being a trainer but really cool at the same time. It's a lot of responsibility but Pres trusts me and I'm glad he does he's such an awesome Pres.

Love ya

Good times in Huntersville

Hey Mom and Dad
How yall doing ? I'm doing pretty good here in Huntersville. On monday we found this kid named Richard he's 18 and the missionaries tracted into him a couple years ago and he read the whole Book of Mormon, we tracted into him again and taught him, he's way cool he understands what we teach him and we committed him to baptism so it was an awesome experience.
Oh how we found him, we tracted his street and his grandpa came out and we said hi and then moved on and then we tracted a few houses down and had this feelng to go back and talk to these people and he answered and now we're teaching him its way awesome, the Lord is blessing us in our work.
Um no one really knew it was my birthday Saturday except a few and then on sunday our WML announced it was my bday so then most of the ward knew so it was good.
Ya I got my package and it was awesome thanx for everything yall gave me the candies were especially awesome.
We're working really hard here and were finding more and more people to teach so were being blessed.
Thanx for everything yall do for me luv ya.

Last two weeks

We dont really have any investigators right now its a little rough right now so were finding alot. The people here are a bit nicer but this area is rich so everybody is well off but were working hard trying to find new people to teach. What I enjoy teaching the most is the restoration and the plan of salvation cuz they are so cool and nobody has ever really heard about what we have so I enjoy those the most, but teaching in general is awesome:)
It is crazy I've almost been out a year. I met our Stake Pres at church and his son knows Tanae Bergeson, its a small world.
One thing I've learned from my comp is that he testifies of Jesus Christ all the time so I've started doing that more. I'm growing and I'm helping him out a lot and he always compliments me so were doing good
Thats an awesome analogy that Pres Perrins told you. (This is from my letter to Marshall: Today in priesthood Pres Perrins taught us about shepards and looking for the lost sheep. He told us how wolves will send their cubs to play near the sheep so that the young sheep will see the cubs playing and leave the safety of the flock to go play with the cubs and while they are playing with the cubs the adult wolves circle around the young sheep and cut them off from the flock and kill them. That is what the devil tries to do to us, distract us and then go in for the kill.)
I continue to find scriptures that can help investigators think about the restoration, so its good.
One sweet thing that happened this week is we found this kid who TOOK the Book of Mormon out of my hand. It was crazy awesome, so we taught him and committed him to be baptized and he accepted:)
I love being out here serving the Lord I'm glad to see things are happening and the Lord is blesing us thanx for everything you do.
luv ya so much
