Christmas on Saturday!

12-20-10 To MOM

My week was pretty good. We worked hard - its nice weather here - no snow:) Well it sounds like yall are pretty busy and staying busy. I'm sure yall worried for him (when Miles took Jordan to the SeaTac airport over the pass) You worried when we would go out chillin with our friends - yall are good parents. Sounds like school is going pretty good and life as well. Wow 1st counselor - pres will be coming short then:) jk. Well I'll be looking forward to my packages:) Sounds like Shay's doing pretty good. She stresses and worries too much. She should just chill and relax and everything works out fine cuz the Lord takes care of us when we give ourselves to him. That's weird, but I hope it makes sense haha. That's weird Garin's home. What does "it starts" mean???:) Very funny. It's so weird how time is flying. Well hopefully you have a good week and I'll tty on Cmas. Have a great week luv ya

To DAD

"I guess I made a boo-boo. Mom was not able to get your packages sent yet." It's all good. I know yall are busy. It doesnt bother me at all cuz I'm focused on being a missionary:) How's Delbert doing? Hope all is good. Tell him hey and I love him. Well hopefully you get everything moved soon and work will keep going. sounds like yall will have a good holiday. Tell Scarlett it's all about Christ. Elder Clayton told me this story about how during WW2 the war stopped and the Germans and the Americans exchanged gifts and sang. Christ stopped a war for a day. Think how important our savior means to us. I'm so grateful for him and his sacrifice. "Mom just drank some eggnog and is wanting to throw up." Haha she finally tried it and luvs it now:) Haha jk sounds like she doesn't. I'll call ya Christmas Eve, aight, and I'll try to get a hold of Cam.

12-13-10 To Mom

Our week was pretty good. We worked hard and found some really sweet ppl. We're starting to work with some really sweet peeps - this guy that's been less active for yrs is starting to come back with his nonmemebr wife and 2 kids and a baby on the way:) I'm way pumped for them. Ya I heard it rained a bunch on the news - that's crazy. I guess it's good for Jordan to spend his Christmas with his fam before he goes on a mission. Of coarse Ii want all of that stuff - I luv your bread and the carmels:) and the truffles:) Well your cooking is that good:) Ya dont remind me (I've been out 18 months) Pres Thomas did last week - it's really weird, mom. We went to the Messiah last night. It was aight, since you know how much I LOVE singing haha. I saw a bunch of families from Huntersville, which was sweet. I loved that ward. aight, thanx for everything you do for me and I'll be looking forward to my presents:) haha. How's work and all that going?

To Dad

Ya it's pretty nice here too - been a bit windy though. Ya the Atonement is amazing; I've learned a lot since I've been out here. I thought I knew a bit back home and being out here made me realize I know nothing and I'll always be learning about the gospel. Ya, busy is always good. Iluv being busy out here cuz then we don't goof off as much cuz I've done that a few times and learned from it and how stupid it is wasting the Lord's time. Ya my shoes fit fine. I actually got 2 pairs some how haha. Well we went to the Messiah last night and it was aight, but I saw a bunch of peeps from Huntersville so it was really sweet. we worked really hard this week - we are seeing this awesome less active guy who's wife and 2 kids aren't members and they're starting to come back. It was a miracle to see them at church cuz he had a bad divorce and he fell away and hasn't been to the church for yrs and is having a kid so that's what's bringing him back to church. Randy's getting baptized on christmas:) I'll ask pres if we can skype. I'll let yall know next week about calling or skype. What's your skype address again? Well things r going good here in Catawba.

December catch up...

12-16-10 To Mom

Ya happy 7 month for Cameron. I'm almost at 18 months. It's way crazy - going by too fast - it needs to slow down a bit. Ya it's still pretty good weather here; just a little cold, that's about it. I realized I don't like the snow haha. That's good that Miles got a job and hopefully Jordan will get one soon as well. We've been learning in church about the gifts of the spirit lately and they are pretty sweet to learn about. Those are some sweet books (The Mortal Messiah set) I've looked through some - they're way deep haha. I love studying books like that. That's sweet he's going to Jamaica - he's way lucky. That would be a sick mission. (Dawn's MTC companion's first son)
Well the burning pants thing Pres Thomas doesn't want us to burn stuff anymore. A while ago we got rid of things we do that we don't really need to - kinda distracts us, I guess, idk, but i'll try to do something haha. That's good that Christmas is getting set up at the house. yall don't need lights and your idea about saving for the kids is better:) I bet she's (Shayanna) feeling super sick. How long are they usually sick like this? That's sweet that Steven is in the bishopric. He'll be a good bishop someday:) Don't tell him I said that haha. Haha you are always tired. jk I'm always tired too. It's crazy - just wanna sleep all day but I got better things to do:) Well we had a pretty good week - same ol stuff. we have a guy getting baptized soon. I've told yall about him; he's awesome. Ya we watched the Christmas Devotional last night as well. "Did you draw that picture of Enos praying?" Nope - my comp did. He's a way good drawer. Sounds like the ward luvs you guys and fit in perfect. Are the Hansens in your ward? What about Clint's kids? Ya that would be sweet - I know you talked about doing a 3 way but that would be too difficult. I'll call him. I can't wait to talk to yall as well - it'll be sweet. "Sometimes I think it would be nice if you could be on a mission forever, cause it has changed both of you, but that is selfish :)" Haha that would be a bit selfish haha jk. Ya I'm getting them (shoes) today from my DL - he got them at a mtg in Charlotte and is giving them to me. So how's work and everything been going for you? I luv this area - the work is going a bit slow but it'll pickup. It's a good area and I luv the ward way better than Asheboro's - really sweet members. To Mom:

Same to you mom. The pics looked like it was crazy. I bet the girls were glad all those days of school were cancelled? Right. Wow that is fricken cold. It’s like 50-60 in the day and 30-40 at night so it’s not bad. Ya Fort Mill is way sweet. I’m also serving on the Catawba Indian reservation. It’s sweet. A ton a Indians. I like it. idk about souvenirs but I got pics:) I’ll try. I’m glad Delbert is happy now. Do u think marriage is in the future? haha wow that’s weird:) jk Looks like yall enjoy the fam being there and all that jazz. what is on Dustin’s face, haha. We played some football and it was fun. I tore it up. The ward here is way sweet; better than Asheboro’s. We ate at Chief Blues house. He was chief of the Catawba tribe for 34 yrs. it was fun. we then ate with the Jensen’s and chilled with them the rest of the day. There’s a really cool fam, the Aeschbachers, and we ate at their house a couple times and they like football and their son in law is cool too. This area’s sweet. Jayne’s taking it hard? I hope everything will get better soon. Wow, you almost fell; that stinks. Good thing dad was there :) Well I’m glad it’s not snowing yet. I realized I don’t really like the snow haha. Ya I’m in Fort Mill SC. I’m serving on the Catawba Indian reservation. It’s legit. It’s kinda small right out of Charlotte, so it’s pretty nice and the ward is way better than Asheboro’s; more ppl which is nice. I’ve already met a few fams and I really like them; they’re good ppl. That’s sweet that your class is finished. When will it start again? HP teacher; that’s cool. I enjoy teaching in church when I’ve done it. I think we all need to clear up our comm. between us and the holy ghost. Well thanx again. I’ve learned a ton about the gospel and how to apply it to my life and to help me become better. Thanksgiving was fun. We played the turkey bowl and it was fun. I miss football. we then ate lunch at Chief Blues house; he was the Catawba chief for 34 yrs. well im doing pretty good dad
things r going pretty good here in asheboro
ya i know i need to be better as well and learn how to better us the holy ghost and the atonement to help me and ppl we teach its pretty hard sometimes elder maughan and i were actually talking about talking to the holy ghost and and things like that last night to help us in our lives thanks dad well u have a busy life and we really dont well we do but all we do is teach so we night as well study a lot:)
wow mirandas pretty good ive only got 1 turkey in my life and that was in asheville
ya thank u so much for the shoes im wearing all my shoes out woops
well this week was interesting we got condemned a bunch and ppl would twell us that theyre sinning cuz theyre talking about john smith(joseph smith) haha and that were ignorant and that christ will find us to and ppl that think they know wat theyre talking about, they really dont know and they wont listen and we still pull scriptures out that prove how they believe wrong and they still wont care, we went to on of our really good friends and gaotrs and they had this guy that was there and he started talking to us about the trinity and i said( i was a little frustrated) in acts 7 55-56 it says that steven being full of the holy ghost looked into heaven and saw jesus standing on the right hand of god. he started to say something and i said dude this is after he was resurrected so if this is after the resurrection he wouldve only seen 1 person since yall think god is a spirit and that shut him right up. and i weas like its in the fricken bible but he was popping pills while he was talking to us so it was ridiculous. earlier he asked me when we get the holy ghost do i get a supernatural power? and i was thinking and i was like "FLYING" haha but getting condemned and having experiences like these help my testimony grow cuz i know the gospel is true and that this is the fulness of the gospel and we recieve the greatest blesisng by living the truth. i know this is the true church and the the bom is the word of god and ive learned so much and thanx for everything u and mom and grandma and granda and the fam help he out and have made it possible for me to serve a mission i know yall will be blessed for helping cameron and i thanx so much
well were gunna have a few baptisms soon and we have a lot of legit gators and im having a lot of fun here

thats cool how ppl like that who wanna change kids go around and help them see wat happens and how we can change if we get into bad things. sounds like yall had a pretty good week so hows school and all that going for u? u working more?

well this week was pretty good not a whole lot happened
well on saturday i went on my 1st hayride at the ward party it was aight
my new comp is elder maughan from portland oregon and hes way cool
hes doing really well cant even tell hes a greenie haha

my week was pretty good on saturday we chilled with the millers and had a good time and all we really did was tract a lot and it was fun
well pres thomas called me sat and told me that ill be training another missionary starting tomorrow hes going to brasil but is having visa problems so hes coming here and ill be his trainer til he leaves so that should be fun
sounds like everything is going pretty good for yall in pasco and having fun there
so does miles get a lot of visitors?

Good Conference

9-27-10 Ya that’s what I’ve heard you’re always sick. That stinks. I’ve been a little sick too but I’m over it I think. Sounds like you went to a good hockey game and that you’re gunna start liking it. haha Football’s better:) That’s good that the Primary had a sweet program. It sounds like you’re way busier than in Moses Lake. Why’s that? Jk That’s good that Miles spends a lot of time with the elders. Does he teach people with them and all that stuff? Is he liking work? It sounds like he’s way busy these days and I’m sure he’ll have a blast in Indy. Tell him to say hi for the cousins and give them a hug for me, aight? It’s so weird that you’re all almost out of the 4 oldest – it’s weird. Cameron sounds like he’s doing awesome. He’s an awesome missionary. Well things are going good here. We had a baptismal interview for Jacob and he’s so ready. It’s way legit. He said an awesome prayer - it was really touching to hear a prayer like that come from a non-member:) And our other investigators are doing aight. How’s school going for you? Elder Marshall Goodrich

10-04-10 Ya it’s pretty crazy. It’s in the 60s here so it’s a bit chilly haha. But I like it since it’s been such a bad summer here, so I’m glad no more humidity. Ya that stinks that yall are still a bit sick, but hopefully yall get better soon. That’s good that you picked up another class. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. How is it going so far? Why don’t yall have set schedules or anything like that? That’s good that yall finally had the yard sale - I heard about that thing like a month ago haha jk. Ya that was pretty sweet (getting a temple in Indy) That’s were me and O’Laughlin were born. Ya conference was really good, even though I accidently feel asleep a few times - woops haha - dark room watching something isn’t a good combo for me and never has been haha. Priesthood session was really good. I learned a lot from the speakers - really good talks. Sounds like yall had a fun weekend with the Hansens and kids. Those are funny movies haha. (Take a Chance, Mobsters and Mormons) So when does Miles get home from Indy? Well that stinks for Miles that the elders got transferred. Why did they both leave at the same time? Who are the new elders? Ya I got the message from Sis Miller. She’s a really good lady and will do anything for us. Wow that’s pretty sweet that Chiawana is undefeated. Sounds like they’re doing really good. Did they bet Moses Lake? Do you know how Moses is doing? Well that’s sweet that yall aer the temple prep teachers. I’s probably gunna be a small class all the time since most members already go to the temple but how much do I know haha. At the 1st session of conference we met a lady that’s being taught by the High Point elders but she lives in our area. She gets taught at work and her house is crazy –that’s what she told us but she said she’s gunna get baptized soon. And a member also at that session told us he wants his 11 yr old grandson to be baptized and we have another little girl gunna get baptized soon, hopefully. So the work is going pretty well. Well no funny stories haha. The office is still getting Elder Goodrich and I mixed up haha. They call us to know who it’s for haha. Well were gunna go to the zoo today - biggest zoo in the Americas and I’ll take a bunch of pics, aight? It should be fun I guess but I’d rather play bball but I have to go sometime, so our district is gunna go. I’ve been reading a book called "About the Three Nephites". It’s a really good book - really good spiritual stories. I told dad to see if he can find it. I’ve also been reading in Alma about the missionaries in there and how it applies to missionary work today - great examples. And I’m reading D & C and the Old Testament and “Jesus the Christ” so my hands are full haha. Trying to learn more and more everyday…Well that’s it. Hope you have a great week and luv ya.

Busy week

Yeah, Sis Miller called me after she called you and told me that you told her to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Mom thats against mission rules haha jk she said mom rules overrule mission rules any day haha. Ya shes a really good lady and theyre a good fam.

Thats good that dad did really good on his talk he always does good ive gotten better at my talks too, but thats true dad knows a lot about the gospel which is good.

Yup it is getting closer which is weird its going by too fast and that will be a weird day when I have to come home, it happens but its good i guess.

my week was pretty good we taught a bunch of lessons and we have 2 way good investigators.

The hurricane just took all the humidity away and it felt so good outside i luved it i wish more hurricanes happened jk that would suck.

Thats sweet that Sis Murrow emailed you. Well maybe you could have it at a family in utah. That would be sweet but im sure you will visit them someday Hopefully a little after my mission theyll go to the temple and i wanna be there for that.

Yeah a lot of people have little problems with us not being able to go home for weddings and funerals, but I don't know why stuff happens and we cant go sometimes it doesnt bother me.

I bet mom luvs telling ppl that she has two boys on missions too.

Pres Thomas has been sending us texts and he always talks about luv the work and enjoy it so we always need to have a positive attitude towards everything and we will find the happiness we are looking for also just doing wat u know is right always makes us feel happy so theres my 2 cents.

How was Miles' talk? so do u guys spend a lot of time in moses? thats good that yall got to spend time with the fam.

Thats good that yall had that chat with Miles for his mission hes already doing more to prepare than i did i wish now, that ive been out to have spent more time with the missionaries and get a better idea of wat it would be like and how missionaries luv getting help from the members i never wanted to back home which i kinda regret but ill enjoy helping them when i get home

We had a pretty good week, we found this awesome family probably one of the best. we found them tracing and we set an appointment up and went and taught them on friday and it was awesome. we're learning new stuff that should help us a lot and it was probably the best 1st lesson ive ever given and thats wat elder o'laughlin thinks too it was awesome. he understood and and when we talked about joseph smith and his story after the 1st vision we just sat there and we could tell he totally felt the spirit and i felt it strongly too like how i feel when i watch the testaments it was awesome theyre a great family and we taught a few other peeps that r getting closer to baptism so this area is picking up a bit which is awesome

That’s good that Cameron got his bike back. It’s a blessing nothing was wrong with it and he got it back. That’s pretty sweet that yall had lunch with Big Jim and that he’s doing good. I bet you enjoyed the time with Shayanna and Steven and that yall had fun. It sounds like they’re doing pretty well. That stinks that you had to go to work before they left. Did you cry on the way to work? That would stink just leaving like that, I guess. That’s good that the girls are getting settled in into everything. sounds like they’re doing good. Sounds like work isn’t going that great right now but im sure it’ll speed up. So you only work a few hrs? So how’s the house looking these days? Ya it sounds like Miles is having a little rough time with things these days and he will stay outta stuff like that with the missionaries. Does he hangout with them a lot?

Sounds like he’s on his way towards preparing for a mission. He’ll be good when he goes. Those elders are lucky - was it your homemade pizza?

Sounds like yall are enjoying Pasco a lot better than before; that’s good. Sounds like when you work your days are pretty crazy - waking up early and all that. But I guess it’s what you gotta do haha. Same here - wake up early and all that stuff. No, we (me and the other Marshall) didn’t get to go on exchanges cuz Elder Watt needed to pack and wanted to say bye to some ppl so we didn’t. It would’ve been sweet and I probably won’t go on exchanges with him cuz I got released from being a dl. Idk (I don’t know) why, but Pres Thomas talked to me after transfer mtg and told me he wanted to get missionaries with leadership experience to really not have to worry about stuff like that and just be normal missionaries and then call us to something else, so its all good and I enjoyed the time to serve as a dl. Ya I got the right camera card - its all good mom :) Linda Murrow wrote me and they’re doing great. They have callings and gave talks in church and Thomas just went to the temple. So it sounds like they’re doing great. Linda told me that she’s going to Utah with her friends. And they’re daughters (it’s the ppl that gave us their referral - the Farrisses) are coming to Utah for a bit and gunna visit Elder Mathises fam and was wondering how far we are from them. It would be sweet for yall to visit with them for a bit. I told dad to talk to Linda so maybe, but idk. It’ll be sweet if yall could meet them.

Well I’m doing pretty good here in Asheboro and the work is going pretty well and I’m having fun here, but I still miss Huntersville but I like it here.

Finally caught up.

Ya I saw Marshall K. Goodrich at transfers and got a pic with him. The cool thing is, is that I’m his district leader, which is weird, haha, and way cool. I got transferred to Asheboro with Elder Watt. He’s from Canada and he’s way cool; we get along good. Finally everything is moved to our new place in Pasco. Miles has been super busy since he’s graduated. I’m sure he’ll have fun in Utah, though, with the Hansens.

Wow that’s pretty sweet that we’re finally close to a temple. Too bad we don’t get to go out here. What does Aunt Lynda have? She was sick when I was there with Uncle Shane. Sounds like you guys are settling in the ward pretty well and that yall like it there. That’s good.

Well I miss Huntersville. It’s been my favorite. The ward was awesome and I made a bunch of friends there so I was bummed when I got the transfer call. But I’m glad to be here in Asheboro cuz its where I’m supposed to be. My week has been good so far in Asheboro - a lot more peeps to teach than Huntersville and a lot nicer, so I like it here. We talked to one guy for a bit; well kinda bashed with him and he condemned us to hell which was funny. Elder Watt and I were laughing afterward.

I’m glad to finally be in full car, so it’s way nice, especially in the summer time. The ward is nice here. We should be baptizing a few peeps here this transfer, so it’s sweet and I’m way pumped. haha Miles is just enjoying life these days it seems like. Yeah he still owes me like 400 or 500 bucks as well so well see what happens. He can just buy me a new iTouch or something sweet like that when I get home :) thats good that yall are getting adjusted to the new ward. Iis it bigger than Moses Lake ward? Oh mom, for the piano do you think you could send me some songs on paper so I can practice? I’ll send a different email for the list of them. It sounds like yall are getting adjusted pretty well to tri-cities and all that jazz. Well hopefully everything with dad’s boss and other stuff goes well. Well my favorite memory of last week was really nothing. We just talked to some interesting ppl and they told us we’re going to hell and we kinda threw down with them; it was pretty fun :) I’m still getting used to Asheboro, since I’ve been in the cities my whole mission, so it’s a little different; but I’ll get used to it in no time. Well my week was alright. It’s going a little slow here right now but we’re working hard to find those who are ready and we’re working with some pretty good investigators right now. My best part of the week was exchanges with an ex-zl and he taught me a lot about how to be a good leader and all that. It’ll help me a lot. The district is pretty sweet right now. We get along great and have a lot of fun. Sounds like things will look pretty different when I get home. haha I’m sure there’s a lot of projects you are working on.

So do yall spend a lot of time with the Hansens these days? I bet yall are glad to be in Pasco and the Lord has surely blessed us. I’m very grateful for what has happened since I’ve been gone. Hey mom, thanx for the little package - that stuff for my arm is working good. So why can you only work 19 hrs a week? Have you tried to find a another job or something? I bet you’ll be glad to be back at work, cuz I know how much you luv helping kids even if they’re trouble sometimes. Haha So how’s the missionary work in Pasco? Is it a lot better than Moses Lake? I’m sure they (Elders Schroeder and Thompson in Pasco) are great missionaries and there is nothing wrong with the Dew, haha. But I have cut back a lot on it on the mission so its all good. Yeah Miles should go teaching with them since he’s really not doing anything and it will help him a lot on his mission and missionaries really do appreciate when members go with them on teams and he’ll become good friends with the elders and it’ll work out great. Does dad like his new job better than working at mlchc? Well it’s pretty crazy that summer is almost over and I bet the girls are not happy. Haha Well I’m enjoying my mission a lot and learning so much.

So mom, do you think you could make me a little binder of piano songs so on p-days or sometime I can practice? I wanna become really good at it cuz it’s so much fun. Um, a couple more songs: one called Boston, one called Hometown Glory, maybe some by Jon Schmidt, Fur Elise. That would be awesome, thanx.

Hey mom. My week was alright. We’re going through a rough time right now; it’s hard to find ppl but I know we’re being tested and I’m working hard. I’ve had a headache for like 6 days now but it’s not a bad one so I’m loading up on Advil haha jk. It seems that the Hansens are over all the time now and it sounds like yall are having a lot of fun.

Sounds like yall are settling in really well in the new ward. haha I’m so glad that I’m not in school anymore and those days were not fun; just a waste of time. haha jk Just boring stuff that had to be done I guess.

That’s crazy that your tooth is falling apart but hopefully you get it fixed soon before it starts causing problems for you. That’s good that Miles finally found himself a job to keep him busy but I’m sure he’s gunna miss Micaiah a lot but I’m sure he’s tough enough to get through it – hopefully. That’s good that he’s good friends with the elders and likes them. Does he go on teams with them a lot? haha I bet yall can’t wait till that day comes. (Shayanna and Steven having a baby.) Ya I had a pretty good week; nothing happened even though we worked way hard.

that’s good that you are going to get your tooth fixed. I’m sure it’s been bugging you for a bit. Ya dad told me some of the stories from stake conference. They were pretty cool.

Risenmay) but I’m not sure. I’ve forgotten a lot of things since I’ve been out. Sorry haha. That’s sweet that the new mission pres came. I bet he’s awesome. How’s the missionary work going for the elders in your ward? So Cameron finally got to see Josh Nielsen. That’s way sweet. Hope he’s doing good. Ya Miles seems to like his job a lot. Sounds fun and I bet he loves the food he gets from working there (Pita Pit). that’s one thing I do miss, your cooking :) that’s sweet that Steven and Shayanna are coming down for a bit. How arr they doing these days? That’s sweet that you finally are starting your job. I bet your’re excited to help those little kids :) Well a whole lot didn’t happen, but I just found out that the Murrow’s daughter Lindsay is taking the lessons and is doing really good. I wish it was cloudy here in Asheboro. It’s so stinking hot and humid. I cant wait for the fall but I’ll enjoy it while it’s here. haha So the girls are way nervous about school. It’s always like that in new places, so hopefully they get settled in good. Sounds like yall had a good time with the Barclays. It’s so weird to say that, haha. I’m sure it helped Shayanna out a lot. That’s sweet that the elders have a great relationship with Miles. I really haven’t found a family to hang out with a whole lot; just in Huntersville. It was the best. I was pretty good friends with some of the youth going to college so we would chill with them sometimes. It was fun. I just need to get settled in a little bit more and I’ll be good here in Asheboro. So you’re already teaching in Relief Society… so much fun, haha. But I’m sure yall fit in the ward just fine, right? Sounds like the stake down there is getting a lot bigger, so I’m sure it’ll be good for the girls. Ya I’ve really enjoyed the mish and it’s a lot of fun and I’ve learned so much about the gospel. Well Elder Watt is getting transferred. it was a lot of fun with him and I enjoyed it. We had a way good week overall; it was awesome. I bet your mouth is sore but I bet you’re glad you finally have a better tooth and all that, haha. I bet Steven laughs all the time - Miles is one goofy kid, haha, but he’s awesome. Sounds like Cameron is doing way better than me, haha. He got 14 new gators in 3 days; I got 10 all transfer, haha. jk Sounds like he’s doing great as well. Are you glad you are working again? My week: we didn’t hardly do anything. I had a meeting in Charlotte: all the trainers, dls, and zls were there getting trained on the new mission curriculum, so it was good.

I bet it was a long 2 days just waiting. Yea I feel the Angel’s and Chico’s pain. We watched the Murrow’s dogs for like 4 days and it was terrible. They freaked out; it was a mess. That’s good that everything is going smooth. How’s the new ward? I bet dad’s glad to be close to the Hansen family and I’m sure Miles will make a bunch of friends down there, hopefully. But I’m still in his shoes; I will always miss Moses Lake. How are Miles and Seth Hansen crazy together? Well we don’t have a lot of gators right now but the work is going good. Thomas and Sarah are getting baptized tomorrow :) so I’m way pumped for them. The wedding went really well; it was my 1st so it was a little weird, but I still liked it. I’ll send pics soon so yall can see them. This summer went by way fast. School starts next month for yall. It’s so weird how time is flying. Next week you should send pics of the whole house - every room and everything.

Sounds like yall’s week was pretty crazy but thank goodness we’re finally in the new house. Sounds like everything is going pretty well there. Things are going pretty well here as well. We’re having 3 baptisms in the next week so things are going really well.

Transfers are next week so we’ll see what happens with everything, but it would be cool to stay here one more transfer. It’s pretty sweet that Marshall is coming in about a week.

The area is doing pretty well and we’re meeting a lot of sweet ppl that hopefully go somewhere. We had dinner and hung out with the Murrows, Farrisss and Killebrews and a few other ppl so we had a good week. Well the weather has cooled off a bit so it’s nice and this upcoming week I have a meeting that’s 4 days long so it might be a long week.

That’s good to hear that you are finally getting over your cold. That stinks that Scarlett got a cough at camp but it sounded like she and Miranda both had a really good time at camp though. haha What do you expect of Miles coming and going? haha What’s he usually up to? That’s pretty sweet that we got another car - Honda Accord – they’re pretty nice cars. It sounds like Miles is way happy to have more freedom haha. Sounds like yall had a pretty good weekend and everything. Did yall go to the firework show in Othello this year? So yall drove all the way to Pasco and back for church? Wow that’s crazy. That’s kinda how far some people have to travel to church out here haha. That sounds like a really good dinner (chicken soup and rolls) and I’m sure that Crystal had a really good bday. Wow yall still haven’t moved. Alright I’ll send Crystal’s card cuz I was gonna send it last week but I wasn’t sure if yall moved or not so its on the way. Don’t tell her haha. Our last week was pretty good. Thomas and Sara are doing really good - still on track for everything and Elder Mathis and I are baptizing them. Thomas asked me to baptize him so I was pretty excited for that and honored as well. Tell grandma and grandpa hi for me and I luv them. Sounds like the ward is pretty nice but idk (I don’t know) if it can beat Moses Lake though; we’ll have to wait and see. Ya I got my little box. It helped a lot it’s way stinking hot out here and humid which I don’t like. I’m sweaty and sticky all day. That’s pretty sweet that Miles got ordained an elder. That’s sweet that he got to give you a blessing. Was he a little nervous? That’s sweet that all the paper work is done and that yall can move this week. I’m sure yall have been waiting for this day a long time; no more lonely nights and hours traveling. Ya Miles told me all the fun he’s having, so I’m sure he’s always busy and has stuff to do. Did the girls have fun at girls camp? Sounds like you and Crystal had a pretty fun week together. Ok I’ll send Crystal a birthday card. Hopefully I won’t forget. Wow, that’s weird that Miles went to Ben Waites’s homecoming talk. I remember being at his farewell. Wow. I’m sure it’s been a little rough on both of yall and the family but thank goodness it all is ending this week. I’m doing my best out here. It’s a little rough, though, since we’ve been comps for almost 4 months it would be nice to change but we’re still together for a reason. Well, we’re planning Thomas and Sara’s wedding and they’re getting baptized on July 20 and getting married on the 17. They’re awesome. He quit smoking. I gave him a blessing and it was awesome. I think he really needed that and it’s helped him a lot. We ate at his work on Sat and talked with him for a while. We went over to the Murrows, as well, and talked with them on how to help Lindsay progress and we’re making progress. Things are going pretty well. Time is flying. It’s crazy. So, Cameron’s slacking in writing to you. jk It’s pretty crazy in the MTC.

Haha I bet that stinks for Miles to be working at night, but as long as he’s getting paid good that’s all that matters.

Wow so it’ll just be you and Crystal pretty much for the next little while, while the girls are at camp. That’s way quiet. Sounds good I bet yall can’t wait to move down there to Pasco. Well, my best memory last week was we went over to Thomas and Sara’s and talked with them. When Sara went to work we went ring shopping online and tonight we’re pretty much planning their wedding with a family at dinner. So that’s way awesome. We had to watch the Murrows’s dogs for a few days while they were at Disney World. It was horrible watching them; they made messes everywhere and I always had to clean it up. It’s because they were nervous, haha, but it was alright watching them. Things are going pretty good here but it’s a little slow. I’ve been here a while so it’s a little hard but it’s all good. Well that kinda stinks that the move got posponed for a week or 2. That is true wat you said that this is the right thing cuz we had an experience a while ago that freaked us out for a bit, then we found the Murrows so I feel your pain. Well hopefully she’ll get the paper work done soon so yall can move. I bet you are glad to be done with school for now. Hopefully Scarlett will get those classes done soon so she doesn’t have to do wat I did haha.

Ya Scarlett told me all about her little party and it sounded fun and Miranda told me she got burnt haha. Well it’s like 95 everyday and the humidity is pretty high up there which stinks; I don’t like it at all.

Haha, Miles told me about all his fun partying which sounded like so much fun but I’ll have to wait for those days to come haha. Ya its pretty crazy that I’ve been out a year and I will take pics of my hump day.

Ya I kinda knew that I was gunna get called to a district leader pretty soon. I thought it was gunna be last transfer but Elder Palmer stayed but I’ll be glad to serve as one though.

Elder Mathis and I are staying together for another transfer which was crazy cuz I’ve only heard it happening one more time so we were way surprised.

I bet things are getting pretty busy these days, haha. Wow it’s weird we’ve been in the house for that long and we thought we’d never move, but the Llord has different plans, haha. Ya Shayanna told me that they left early and that’s sad they had to pay an extra day on the rental car. They’re going through a little rough time right now but I know that it’ll get better as they continue to do the things they need to, so hopefully it continues to get better for them. Seminary grad looked cool; a bunch graduated this year. It’s weird seeing all of them graduated haha. So how do u like your new iphone, Mom? They’re pretty sweet huh? I miss a bunch of ppl as well. I’ll just have to visit a lot then. That’s good that Rachel is doing good and those little family birthday party things were always good haha. *(Jayne’s 15^th birthday) Good times.

Well this week was pretty good. We had that zone leader conference training and I learned a lot from it and it was a great experience. I got to see a bunch of missionaries I haven’t seen in awhile, so it was nice.

Well, we’re teaching a couple, Thomas and Sara; they’re not married but they will soon. Ever since we started teaching him he quit drinking right away and he’s quit smoking; he’s awesome and they’re a great little fam. We ate dinner with them on Saturday and had a great time. He’s a way cool guy and they have a cute little 9 month old girl. She’s funny.

Sunday was good. Linda Murrow taught gospel principles and she did a great job. Then Sunday evening we went and ate with them and the

Farrisss and the Killebrews. We had a great time hanging out with them. It has probably been the coolest experience and them helping the Murrows where they are today. We’re pretty good friends with their kids so we all get a long great. Well transfers are on Thursday so well see wat happens. I’m really hoping to stay here at least one more transfer; that would be awesome. sounds like work is going pretty good for u, dad, and you are keeping busy; that’s good. It’s great being out here serving in North Carolina. Thankx for everything. Well things are great here and I luv the ward here. Well thanx for everything. luv ya

The baptisms went really well; it was an awesome experience and it was sweet to be part of it cuz their friends have waited year to see that day so it was awesome. So did yall have a pretty good weekend? Sounds like it was a lot of fun with Steven and Shayanna there and pretty busy; a lot of things to do. Ya I’ve heard that Miles and the group got ripped off again at the lip sync; that’s horrible. Did Shay and Steven have a good time in Moses?

So how long did they practice for the dance thing? The weather here hasn’t been that great. It’s rained a lot and it rains way hard here and when its not raining its really hot and humid so it’s kinda nasty but hopefully I’ll get used to it. Ya dad told me a little about Aunt Barbara’s funeral and I’m sure it was good and nice to see the fam there. Transfers are next week so we’ll see what happens. Hopefully I can stay cuz Thomas our other investigator wants to get baptized; he just needs to get married and that’s about it. He’s already said he wants to get baptized so that’s way sweet. Well my best experience was the baptism; nothing beats that:)
